Making prayer and fasting our life style

Prayer and fasting are important spiritual disciplines that can help us deepen our relationship with God and experience His power in our lives.

When we make prayer and fasting a habit, we can open ourselves up to receiving miracles from God and experiencing His power in a profound way.

1. Prayer helps us connect with God:

Through prayer, we can communicate with God and seek His guidance and wisdom in our lives.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

2. Fasting helps us focus on God:

Fasting involves abstaining from food or other distractions in order to focus our attention on God. This can help us tune out the noise of the world and focus on what God is saying to us.

"But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." - Matthew 6:17-18

3. Prayer and fasting can help us overcome spiritual obstacles:

When we make prayer and fasting a regular part of our lives, we can break free from spiritual strongholds and experience greater freedom and victory in our lives.

"Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, 'If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.' Jesus answered, 'It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" - Matthew 4:1-4

4. Prayer and fasting can help us receive miracles from God:

When we pray and fast, we position ourselves to receive miracles from God. God can use our prayers and fasting to bring about miraculous breakthroughs in our lives.

"This kind can come out only by prayer and fasting." - Mark 9:29
